ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Fresh admissions are normally made only for L.K.G. However, the school may admit boys and girls in other classes also, if there are vacancies.

Selections are made through an entrance examination.

COURSE OF STUDY

The school follows the curriculum and syllabus prescribed by the CBSE Board of central Government. Computer Science is one of the subjects offered in the school. Computer education is available to all students from Std. I onwards.

THE SCHOOL ACADEMIC YEAR

The academic year of the school is from June to April, with two mid-year vacations— one in Sept / Oct and the other in December. The school has three terms. 1st Term from June to September, the 2nd Term from October to December and the 3rd Term will be from January to April. Summer holidays will be from mid-April to the end of May. The school works for a minimum of 210 days in a year.

TESTS AND EXAMINATION

Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation.
E. Tests or E. assessment will be introduced.

  • Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation is intended to provide a holistic profile of the learner through assessment of both scholastic and non-scholastic aspects of education spread over the total span of instructional time in school.
  • It helps to identify those positive attitudes of the learner which are not usually assessed during the tests/ examination conducted.
  • It provides several opportunities to identify the talents of the learners in different contexts.
  • E(Electronic) Assessments will be available and marks will be sent through mobile.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Physical education is compulsory for all the students. They are further required to participate in all activities wearing only the prescribed uniform.

FIELD TRIPS: Visit Important Factories, offices, Parks, Historical Oriented places, etc.

CURRICULUM ASSESSMENT

              The Academy following CBSE pattern of curriculum, has two terms – April to September and October to March. Each term has two Formative Assessments and one Summative Assessment where the student competence is assessed in a comprehensive manner. The weight age is as follows.

Formative Assessment            –           40 %

Summative Assessment          –           55 %

Attendance                             –           5 %

SCHOOL UNIFORM 

Students must wear the school uniform on all the working days as prescribed below. They are

permitted to come in coloured dress on Saturdays.

SCHOOL HOURS :  Monday to Friday

Forenoon 9.15 a.m. – 12.20 p.m.

Afternoon 12.55 p.m. – 4.05 p.m.
